The Hot Lips 2 collection from Charlotte Tilbury has landed and you are in for a TREAT!!!! Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are some of my all time favourite lip products (I’m looking at you Coachella Coral), so when I heard Hot Lips 2 was on the way I could not contain my excitement. As Beauty Editor of RSVP Magazine I was so very fortunate to get my hands on these early, resulting in me really trying them out and forming an opinion. Spoiler alert, they are glorious.
What Are Hot Lips 2?
Hot Lips 2 is an eleven lipstick collection inspired by eleven iconic women and men. Edward Enninful, J.K. Rowling, Susan Sarandon, Kylie Minogue, Amal Clooney, Alessandra Ambrosio, Jennifer Aniston, Carina Lau, Sofia Vergara, Olivia Palmero, and Patsy Tilbury are behind the beautiful new collection. Launched on June 20th, Hot Lips 2 is benefitting Charlotte’s charity partner, Women for Women International with an amazing £1 million pledge. Available in both K.I.S.S.I.N.G and Matte Revolution formulas, the shades suit everyone.
Hot Lips 2 Packaging IS……
Refillable! Yep, for the first time Tilbury lipsticks come in refillable tubes. Great news as each of the cases are so gorgeous you won’t want to let them go. Five collectible designs from leopard print to a universe inspired bullet make them display worthy. They are 35 euro each with refills costing an affordable 23 euro each. Final Thoughts On Hot Lips 2
I think Charlotte has done an outstanding job with this collection. From the packaging to the shade selection to the story behind each one. I am always wary when brands say the shades suit everyone but I have to agree. Even the shades inspired by deeper skin tones than mine, I feel I can wear. The formula is the same as her already iconic lip collection. If I had to try and find fault? Maybe I wish that customers could pick the shade they wanted and the case they wanted. But that is really just me nit picking and trying to some what balance my review.
