Face Palettes are one of my favourite makeup products. I usually apply my makeup on the run or in the car so it is handy to have multiple products in one case. My collection has grown in 2018 and I thought I would put five of my most used in a blog post. As you can see from the photos, they have all been well used and loved.
Hourglass Unlocked Edit – Face Palettes 1
This was released in late 2018 and quite honestly, I have used it almost daily since. All of the pans have been used with equal attention. When it first arrived my first impressions were it was beautiful but tiny. However you get more than enough product. After a couple of months continuous use there is barely a dent in the pans. You get six of the Hourglass powders in this palette. Two powders, two blushers, a bronzer and a metallic highlight. All exclusive shades that I sincerely hope they release separately. Unfortunately it was limited edition and hard to find but read on for some great alternatives.
Hourglass Sheer Illume Trio – Cream Face Palettes
This all cream product is a beautiful addition to my best of face palettes post. I bought this at the beginning of summer and barely put it down. It has the creamiest, most flattering and easy to blend bronzer, blush and highlight. They are impressively pigmented for a cream product so you only need a small amount. This is one product I will 100% repurchase. You can buy it HERE.
Luna By Lisa Pearl And Glow Palette
Now if you want to glow then this is your gal. A beautiful product from Luna by Lisa. You get a very generous highlight, contour/bronze, blush and eye light. There is nothing I dislike. From the sleek packaging to the smooth formulas, I think Lisa has done an amazing job with this. A welcome addition to my family of face palettes and you can buy yours HERE.
Charlotte Tilbury Glowing, Pretty Skin Palette
Anyone who has been following me knows just how much I love Charlotte Tilbury products. You must all be bored of me by now but my love is unapologetic. Her products never let me down. My love must be earned and this brand has earned it! The newest release is the Glowing, Pretty Skin Palette and it does exactly what it says on the tin. In sleek, signature CT packaging you will find an Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in Shade 2 (a product I have repurchased 3 times), 2 blush shades, a bronze/contour and two beautiful highlighters. You can treat yourself HERE.
Becca Be A Light Face Palette
The Becca Be A Light Face Palette is the closest you will come to the Hourglass Palettes mentioned here. In it you get four beautiful powders. Two generous face powders, one to brighten and one to blur, as well as a contour powder and beautiful pink blush. These leave your face subtly illuminated. A perfect finishing touch to your make up look and you can buy HERE.
Bonus Palette- Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette Volume 4
If you didn’t get your hands on the Unlocked Edit the let me introduce you to the Ambient Lighting Palette Volume 4. Just as beautiful as its counterpart with two powders, a bronze, highlight and 2 blushers. The shades look similar but are slightly different which is a good thing! The coral blush is brighter and the plum shade deeper. I do think it is a good buy if my cost per use is anything to go by. You can buy HERE.
There you have a round up of my most used face palettes. I hope you find it useful if you are looking to add one to your collection. Let me know if you have a favourite I should try under my latest Instagram post.
