IT Cosmetics has been one of those brands we have watched American Bloggers use for years. A whole bunch of my favourites rave about the CC Cream. We could order online and take the risk with 1: Customs and 2: Shade matching incorrectly. Finally we can now access IT Cosmetics in the new Arnotts Beauty Hall in Dublin and have it delivered to our homes from an Irish source!! I could not wait to get my hands on the products to road test.
IT Cosmetics was developed with leading plastic surgeons and has clinically proven problem solving makeup and skincare. The products were developed with cutting edge anti-ageing technologies and high performance ingredients. I trialled the CC Cream, Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder, Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, Brow Power and Superhero Mascara. How did I get on? Let’s have a run through of what I have been loving.
IT Cosmetics CC Cream
Infused with collagen, peptides, niacin, algae, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and vitamins A, C, B and E this promises to be anti-ageing, hydrating and brightening. Who doesn’t love the sound of all of those skin loving ingredients? Not only that but it has an SPF 50 to protect your skin against those harmful UVA/UVB rays. I had high hopes for this especially as it all but claims to be a miracle in a tube. It did not let me down. So easy to apply, buffing effortlessly into the skin. The cream covered what I needed it to while still allowing my skin to look like skin. Just a better version. My face felt smooth, hydrated and comfortable. For a CC Cream it lasted so well throughout the day and left me with a beautiful glow. I have reached for it almost daily since I got it and I don’t think you will be disappointed, especially if you have dry skin like mine with early signs of ageing. My shade is ‘Light’ but it is available in 7 shades for 39 euro HERE.
Bye Bye Under Eye
Here we have a product that claims to be full coverage, anti-ageing and waterproof. A tall order for a concealer. The only other concealer that performed like this for me was my Lancome Teint Idole Camouflage. That baby covers everything!! How did IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye measure up? Man this is full coverage. The consistency is thick. Some followers of mine had difficulty applying it. You need the tiniest amount. I like to warm it up on the back of my hand and apply it to my under eye area using a small dense brush.
It covers well, brightens those inner corners and leaves my skin looking smooth. I do need to set it with powder or I crease but that is every concealer on me. It is infused with collagen, peptides, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants so I feel like I’m treating my skin at the same time. Available in 6 shades for 29 euro HERE. I use the shade medium.
Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder
I am extremely fussy when it comes to powder. I have dry skin with lots of little fine lines and wrinkles. Most powders settle into my lines and make my under eyes look dry. I have lots of pores around my nose and chin that are visible after I apply foundation so my expectations and standards for this product were high! The brand claims it is airbrushing in a compact, blurring imperfections and suitable for all skin tones.
Okay so this does what it claims. My under eye area looked smooth and it blurred out my pores beautifully. As the day went on it allowed my natural oils to peak through so I never looked dry or oily. If you are on the hunt for a new pressed powder then this one might be worth a punt! Available in loose powder too for 29 euro HERE.
IT Cosmetics Brow Power
I have issues when it comes to ‘universal’ brow products. The shade is rarely universal and usually comes up too dark or too warm on my fair brows. Finally I have found a product that does what it claims. The colour is Taupe and really does blend into the perfect colour for my brows. The formula again is packed full of scientific ingredients such as biotin, grape seed, vitamins and antioxidants but all I really care about is how it applies. As I’m sure you are too! It glides through the brows and leaves you with a really natural result. The pen comes with a spooley to brush the product through which is a huge plus for me. I hate when brow products don’t have a spooley!! My brows also survived a 12 hour shift. Available for 25 euro HERE.
Last but definitely not least we have the Superhero Mascara. They tell me this mascara has elastic stretch technology for volume boosting, lengthening and conditioning powers. This mascara is beautiful. My fine, fair lashes were transformed into long, dark lashes with volume. I have a demo of this on my Instagram HERE so you can see for yourself. The product did not smudge all day, held a curl and was easy to remove. This is one product I would highly recommend. Available for 25 euro HERE.
I have been so impressed with these products that I can’t wait to try some more from the brand. Usually when a brand is so hyped something lets you down. All of these products live up to the fuss in my opinion and if you were looking to treat yourself to some new makeup then I would give the brand a go. Next up I’m going to get my hands on some skincare and some of the radiance boosting makeup so keep an eye on my Instagram and blog for more! Have you tried anything? What are your thoughts?
