UnNudes Matte Ink Lip Colour’s are right up my street. Anyone who knows me knows I love a nude lip. As a nurse, I don’t wear anything bright to work. So I wear Nudes and I need them to last as long as possible. UnNudes Matte Ink Lip are the newest colours available from Maybelline. I have featured burgundy shades from this family in a previous blog post HERE. So you see, I have tried and loved this product in the past. I was sent the new shades from Maybelline last week and here are my thoughts.
Unnudes Matte Ink Lip Colour Range
There are five new shades in the collection. Seductress, Poet, Driver, Amazonian and Ruler. Each one different, each one a shade of nude! There is a shade within the Unnudes collection for everyone.
- Poet
- Driver
Poet and Driver are the lightest two of the nude colours. Poet has that more Peachy tone that you could alter depending on lip liner and Driver is the truest nude of the bunch.
- Amazonian
- Seductress
Then we have Amazonian which is a very 90’s brown toned nude. I have seen Jamie Genivive wear this and it is stunning on a more sallow skin tone. Seductress is the one I have reached for the most. A stunning pink/rose toned nude that is so wearable for everyday.
Finally we have Ruler. The most beautiful vibrant redish nude. This colour will look amazing on everyone and really whitens up your teeth. Besides Seductress, I think this is also one of my favourite colours.
Unnudes Matte Ink Lip Colour – The Verdict
These do exactly what they claim. I applied Poet on a 12 hour shift recently and it fared really well. About 10 hours in I needed a bit of lip balm but the colour was still there when my shift finished. This has survived eating and drinking. Some of the deeper shades in the rest of the collection can wear around the centre of the lips but the Unnudes wear nice and evenly without leaving your lips too dry. You can buy them from independent pharmacies nationwide for 12.25 each. Be sure to follow me on Instagram for daily beauty updates here.
