Mahon Point Shopping Center Last Minute Gift Guide

Mahon Point Shopping Center is located in Cork, just off the link road. It is home to over a hundred stores with an Omniplex Cinema and plenty of dining options. There is ample parking with disabled spaces, Mother and Baby parking and a portion of covered parking too. You will find shops like Debenhams, Zara, River Island, Lifestyle Sports and Newbridge Silver. It is easy to see why it attracts thousands of shoppers every year. Don’t drive? No problem! The number 202 bus will take you straight to the door.

Mahon Point Shopping For Her

Girlfriend, wife, sister, mother, friend…. whoever they are and what ever your budget, I have some ideas for you! Jewellery is always an obvious choice for the lady in your life. I loved these pieces from Newbridge Silverware and Moores Jewellers. From left to right we have: Drop earring from the Newbridge Guiness Collaboration and they are beautiful. Very reasonably priced too at 40 euro. As is this eye catching necklace also from Newbridge at 35 euro. If your budget allows, then I adore the tan strap, rose gold hardware and black face on this Daniel Wellington watch at 149 euro.

Any woman would be seriously impressed if she opened up a present to find one of these bags inside. Very budget friendly. Perfect for your best friend or sister. Mustard yellow is a huge trend this season. As is the chain detailing and embellished Bee.  All under 40 euro from Parfois at Mahon Point Shopping Center.

For the Beauty loving woman in your life, you are spoiled for choice in Mahon Point Shopping Center. There are great deals to be had so be sure to check out the current special offers in store. For example this week Debenhams had 10% off Tom Ford perfume and Marc Jacobs gift sets for 42.50 euro. They change regularly but the girls in Debenhams are beyond helpful so do not be afraid to ask. I would suggest getting into Elizabeth Arden and buying this gift set, no purchase necessary.

In Sam McCauleys you can find some really beautiful gift sets including this Rodger and Gallet one. Keep an eye on the Boots star buy as they are seriously great value.

Mahon Point Shopping For Him

Is it just me or are the men in our lives the hardest to shop for? When my sister and I discussed our Dad present we both went for a watch straight away. They say it is bad luck to buy a watch for your partner though! Anyone else believe that? If you don’t then Moores Jewellers have a great range of men’s watches, including this Dalton Watch for 125 euro.

When we were out shopping last week my other half made a beeline for the Game Of Thrones box sets in Golden Discs.

If your man shaves or has a beard, Sam McCauleys have some handy gift ideas such as this Babyliss Shaver or Mans Stuff Beard Care Kits.

Finally, for a novelty gift I thought these Spuddy’s were very cute, especially from kids to Daddy. 15 euro also from Sam McCauleys.

Gift Ideas For Teenagers

I was assured by a very helpful staff member of boots that Jack Wills is the brand of choice for Teenagers this Christmas. They had a lot of different gift sets for both male and female that might be worth checking out.

Any teenage girl would love some Benefit Cosmetics and their gift sets this year are excellent value.

Plenty of older Boy’s toys in Debenhams too including this very cool Silverlit Air Tornado remote control helicopter reduced to 21 euro.

Gifts For The Kids

There are lots of choices for the children in your life too. Debenhams have fantastic value toys like this Barbie Vanity Set for 28 euro.

Or this remote control Ferrari for 27.50 euro.

Smiggle has just opened on the second floor of the center and it is FULL of fab items for little boys or girls. You can find everything from lunch boxes, to diaries to headphones to slime. Kids will love this store.

 

What To Buy The Grandparents???

Another tricky one but don’t worry, I have some great ideas for them too!! Carraig Donn have a beautiful selection of Candles from Torc for 14.99 euro.

Debenhams have a really lovely collection of gifts for both Grnadmother and Grandfather. I loved these two ideas.

Secret Santa, Teacher Gifts and Stocking Fillers

The list is endless when it comes to gift options in this category. Mostly under 25 euro and geared towards a variety of recipients. Starting with Debenhams offering everything from personalized Nutella Jars to sweet treats to coffee lover sets.

Easons have a huge selection of books for all ages. My son loves the David Walliams is my sons favourite and some of the books are on 3 for 2.
