The Sleek I-Divine palette just turned ten and I was there to celebrate at their party! Hosted by the beautiful gals at The Publicity Loft we were treated to Brunch and a make up demo using Sleek Makeup. Including the Diamond Decade i-Divine palette. When I first saw that this palette was being launched on Twitter, I knew it would be one that I would be purchasing. It is unlike any of the other palettes in my collection. Pinks, blacks and silvers. Such a fun range of colours for a striking smokey eye.
Of course the theme of the brunch was all things Sleek and pink. It was really on brand and so much fun. I mean, did you see the cake? Hello!! So after a fun morning I left feeling inspired and excited to try out the palette on myself. I packed it into my luggage for Amsterdam and we set off!
Sleek I-Divine Diamond Decade Palette
In this palette you get twelve beautifully pigmented eyeshadows. Four pink shades that range from pale and shimmering to hot pink. Four silver colours and four dark grey/black shades. I think this palette has everything you need to create a dark smokey eye for that special night out. Some of my followers thought they wouldn’t be able to use this palette but once I showed them it on my eyes they changed their minds! Best of all? It is only 10.99. Sleek i-Divine Diamond Decade Swatches
This palette swatches so nicely. The shadows are soft and smooth. The metallic shades just come to life on the skin. Look at those silver shades!!! Look!! On the eyes they are easy to blend and apply true to colour with a flat brush or your finger. If you use a wet brush with this palette the pigmentation goes through the roof. The pale pink makes the most amazing inner corner or brow bone highlight.
Creating A Look and Verdict
When I was in Amsterdam I create a black smokey eye for our last night out. My snapchat family (add me @louiseocon.ie) loved it!! I loved using this palette and I have used it since. In fact if a friend asked me to suggest an affordable brand for eyeshadow then the Sleek i-Divine palettes would be top of my list to recommend.
I paired my look with the matching Lip VIP Diamond Decade and a real pop of pink. This lipstick is one of my favourite new additions to my lipstick collection. I even bought one for my sister. It is a semi matte lipstick, intensely pigmented and has great staying power. It didn’t bleed or dry out my lips.
