The Dawid Tomaszewski Collection is a new limited edition offering from Catrice Cosmetics. Dawid Tomaszewski is a world renowned German-Polish Fashion Designer. The collection was designed around his Autumn Winter 2017 runway shows and it is beautiful. The packaging of this collection will grab before anything else. Rose Gold and architecture type patterns are your first impressions. The colours inside range from purples, golds and greens. Perfect Autumn make up. I am going to review the Palette and two lipstick shades today.
Dawid Tomaszewski Collection Palette
The palette is simply beautiful to look at. You get eight eye shadows, a blush and a highlight. The embossing on the cheek products reflects the design on the palette. It looks far more expensive than it is. The mirror is great quality and the packaging feels sturdy. I loved the variety of shades, especially the purple and green. They swatch very nicely and the pigment is impressive for the price point.
The blush and high light shades will suit most skin tones. They felt buttery and smooth to swatch.
Dawid Tomaszewski By Catrice Lipsticks
Firstly these lipsticks look expensive. The rose gold tubes are beautiful to look at. When you twist up the lipstick you can immediately see a difference in texture to your usual cream lippies. They are of course matte and absolutely beautiful. They applied evenly and felt comfortable on the lips. I really liked the texture of these lipsticks. The shades are ‘Lucy’s Red’ and ‘Unconventional Violet.

The Verdict
I actually really enjoyed this collection. I was most impressed with the quality of the lipsticks and their colour pay off. The shadows were easy to work with. They could be a little bit more pigmented when applied to the lid but lets not forget the price point here. The shadows were soft and very easy to blend. They gave a natural finish. The blush colour was beautiful and I love that it is all in one palette. Great for on the go. I was worried the lip colours wouldn’t be wearable but I was wrong. I loved them both on.
