L.O.V Cosmetics is a brand I hadn’t tried before. I saw other bloggers talk about the products on Instagram and they looked beautiful. A PR package came from the brand a couple of months ago and I have been steadily trying them out since then. I was sent a generous amount of product to try so we’ll get stuck into the post!
L.O.V 2 IN 1 Powder Foundation
This foundation is enriched with serum for hydration and offers buildable coverage. I did not try this as a foundation but used it to set me liquid foundation! To say I love this powder is an understatement. Anyone that finds setting powders too drying needs to try this. No caking around my nose and my foundation stayed in place all day. L.O.V Highlighting Drops
The claims on this include moisturized, smoother and firmer skin. I can’t say that this is true but I can say they give the most beautiful glow to the cheeks. A few bloggers have said they found this product lifted the foundation underneath. I did not find this to be the case. It applied beautifully to my skin using patting motions with my finger tips. You can also apply it with a small beauty blender. I have also mixed this into my foundation to up the luminosity and it works really well. Purchase here.
L.O.V Cosmetics Supreme Liner Pen
This is an eyeliner pen unlike any I have seen before. The tip is designed exclusively for L.O.V Cosmetics. The tulip shape allows for a slim line like a fine liner pen or a thicker line like a jumbo pen. Just by adujusting the pressure you place on the tip. I liked the formula and it was easy to use. L.O.V Long Lasting Stylo Eyeshadow
Now I loved this. It is a stylo eyeshadow with a shimmery finish. This was beautiful all over the lid on its own or as a base for the Magnetic Shadow. I used it here with just a matte plum shadow blended into the crease and I would have happily left it at that. I am going to purchase a few more colours in this as it is a great addition for Moms on the go. Under a tenner here.
L.O.V Magnetic Loose Eyeshadow
Another first for me, magnetic eyeshadow. Who knew such things existed? Not me! Firstly, these are stunning to look at. They swatch beautifully and there is a nice range of colours. I do find these last better on lid when placed with a finger on top of a cream shadow base. That is exactly what I did here. I used the Stylo first and then place the magnetic shadow on top. The result is gorgeous. Sexy, smudgy, sparkly lids. Yes!!! 9.99 each here.
L.O.V Cosmetics Lip Products
There is a huge range of lip products available from the brand. I tried the colour and care lip pencil and the liquid matte lipstick. I have worn both several times since I got them. The matte lipstick is very comfortable and the formula easy to apply. The lip pencil is enriched with vit E and Jojoba Oil to condition lips. A bonus for me as I have dry lips. I want to try so many of their lip products. Including more colours of the matte liquid lip.
The Verdict
I am so very excited to try more from this brand. It is so affordable! There are a great range of products and you can really add to your collection without breaking the bank. I feel an online order coming!
