Teint Idole Ultra Wear is a new foundation range from Lancôme Paris. It has an expert formula and claims to give perfect long wear with maximum coverage. As most of you know, I am a nurse that works 12 hour shifts. I find most foundations slide off my face with no consideration for the public I face everyday. The environment where I work is fast paced, hot and stressful at times. I’m sure the sick don’t really care about what foundation I am wearing. However, if I feel I look ok I can approach my new patients with confidence. Now that is what the public do want to see. A confident professional. A small difference but to me it is important.
The Teint Idole Ultra Wear foundation is one I have been trialling for three months now. For my social media followers this will come as no surprise. Lancôme has announced two new additions to the Teint Idole Ultra Wear family and they are just as exciting. Let me take you through all three.
Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation
This foundation and my skin just love each other. I’m talking love at first sight, never to part. Love. The claim is a long lasting foundation with comfort feeling. I absolutely agree with this. This has survived many a 12 hour shift and not once has my skin felt dry or cakey. It blends into the skin seamlessly and has a medium coverage that can build up to full. The foundation comes in 40 different shades which is quite impressive.
The formula contains Eternalsoft Polymer which allows increased comfort levels during long wear. It has NAI Pigments which are specially coated pigments that maintain a constant ph level with skin. No colour change during the day! It also contains Perlite and Silica which helps with oil absorbing.
Teint Idole Ultra Wear Stick Foundation
This is a new product in the range and designed so that you can carry it with you. The stick is extremely versatile. You can use this as foundation, use to touch up foundation while you are out and about or use to contour the face. I love a product that has more than one function. This formula is available in 20 shades. It blends nicely and the packaging is beautiful. I do prefer my liquid foundation however I want to purchase this in a darker colour to use as a contour.
Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer
Now if you are looking for the mother of all concealers then this here is your baby. You literally need the tiniest amount. It is highly pigmented and has a beautiful creamy formula. This spread so nicely on my skin without looking heavy or caking. I used it under my eyes and my bags had instantly vanished! I must wear test this a little more but my first impressions are a big thumbs up.
The Verdict and Where to Buy
I love this range. Plain and simple. I only switch out from this foundation when I am fake tanned and need a darker colour. It is my go to. I am a pale Irish girl with freckles. I need a foundation that will match my fairness without a pink undertone. This foundation does exactly that. Go and get a sample today and try it for yourself.
