NOTE Cosmetics is one of my favourite affordable beauty brands. If you are following me on snapchat you will have heard me talk about them on several occasions. Each product I try is better than the last. It is the first time I have tried a brand that I have loved everything. My only one single critique is that I’d love a highlight for lighter skin tones. Even at that, it is not much of a critique!
NOTE have release a range of four Luminous Silk Quattro Eyeshadows. The claim is that they are versatile enough to take you from day to night and beyond. The satin powder formula allows for buildable colour that blends seamlessly. Are the claims true? I was lucky enough to have two shades sent to me. Shade No 06 which is a stunning rage of blues and Shade 04, a beautiful range of plums.

The second you put a finger near these eyeshadows you can feel how soft they are. Literally like silk! They feel soft and buttery. When you swatch them across the skin they almost melt. Each shadow is so pigmented. Those silver shades? Wow! A gorgeous highlight!
How I Wore Them
I immediately new that I wanted to use the darker shades to create a smoky eye. A dramatic eye look is my go to glam for a night out. The navy and purple shades would add a nice pop of colour! I warmed up my crease with a little bronzer to act as a transition. Then I used the darkest shade in Quad 06 to build up my crease colour. I used this shadow dry at first and it was beautiful. Next I wet my brush using a setting spray and then the magic happened!!
The shadow transformed into a heavily pigmented, almost metallic navy blue. It applied like a dream!! I buffed out the edges using the same colour dry and added more bronzer to really soften the edges. Underneath my eyes I used the darker shade from Quad 04 to smoke out my lower lash line. A stunning shade of deep purple. In my inner corners I used the silver shade as a highlight.
The Verdict
I adored using these quads. They are so versatile and at 9.95 each, the colour pay off is incredible. I am going to purchase the other shades on pay day for sure!!
