What’s News With You? January 19th 2018

What’s News With You? is a new feature to the website for 2018. Here I want to share with you anything that I’ve discovered this week. It could be up coming beauty or fashion releases, products that have just hit shelves or new in store. There will also be a lifestyle section in this post with hotel deals, new bars or clubs, festivals, gigs etc.. I’m even going to include products for himself and the kids where I find them. I hope you like it and more importantly, find it useful!! Remember I will say where I have tried a product but this isn’t a review based post. Think of it as a Newsletter. Let’s get cracking on this weeks.

What’s News In Beauty?

neutrogena targeted acne treatment

Neutrogena have a new Targeted Acne Treatment coming our way and it looks very interesting! Following on from their light therapy mask, they now have a compact, portable device to target individual blemishes. You can even start to use this as soon as you feel the spot grumbling beneath the skin. It will retail at 29.99 euro and I will for sure keep yo updated on it’s release!

Clarins have some beautiful new additions coming our way on January 29th. Starting with six new primers to target fatigue, radiance, redness, dark spots, imperfections and sallow skin. They will retail at 31 each and I for one will be dying to try them out. If that wasn’t enough you will also find the spring makeup collection which includes a four colour eyeshadow palette called ‘Lovely Rose’ for 43 euro. You will also find two Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector’s. They will come in shade ‘Hot Pink’ and ‘Plum’ for 20 euro each.

Moving along to the budget side of Spring colours, Catrice Cosmetics have some beautiful looking Blush Colours! They include a Butter to Powder Blush (4.50 euro), Cushion Powder Cheeks (5.50 euro) and an Ombre Blush Palette (5.50 euro). These should be hitting shelves now!

As for lashes KISS have introduced new luxury lashes exclusively for Primark and I’m a fan. VLuxe by iEnvy Mink Lash Inspired Collection are 6.50 euro each. I have tried these for myself and I would recommend them. In Penneys stores nation wide now!

What’s News in Fashion?

I for one am completely over the sales. Almost craving some new in clothing with a hint of spring in the background!! I have been compiling wishlists from all of my favourite stores and here are a few items on it:

A Mango Blazer is a great addition to any wardrobe and this New Season edition of the check blazer is a welcome change from browns and greys. You can shop here.

Staying with navy, I love this military coat new in to Asos from Forever New. Pricey at 175 euro but worth it in my opinion. Shop here.

Whats News For The Boys?

david beckham house 99 male grooming

There was an exciting announcement in Men’s grooming. David Beckham is launching a brand called House 99. It will be available in 20 countries from March 1st 2018 and contains everything from Moisturizer to Beard Balm. I personally can’t wait to see the packaging and how the products perform and will be purchasing some for Mr. O’ Connell. You can sign up to the newsletter here for product and launch updates.

Whats News For the Family?

I am already looking out for family breaks over the Easter midterm and The K Club have some really great offers on that are family orientated. They are offering 2 nights B&B with a four course meal for 290 euro pps. Lots to do for the kids nearby with the National Stud, Japanese Gardens, Dublin Zoo and Tayto Park easily accessible from that base. See my review of Tayto Park here. Highly recommended. Outside of the kiddies, there is golf, fishing, tennis, falconry and the spa all on site. They will also have a kids club called the ‘K CUBS’ daily from 11-6 offering discos, face painting, art, nature walks, playground and an easter egg hunt. You can find out more here.
