Douglas Village Shopping Centre is right in the heart of Douglas, Cork. It is easily accessible from the link road and it has all your shopping needs under one roof. I have lived in the area for ten years now and I visit Douglas Village Shopping Centre at least three or four times a week. When I was approached to do a collaboration with them it was the perfect fit as I am a long term customer. I had a wander around at the weekend as I needed a few bits and pieces. Saturday’s are a great time to visit as the Farmers Market is on and the atmosphere is lovely.
What Douglas Village Shopping Centre Has On Offer
It has everything from Marks and Spencers, TK Maxx, Bank of Ireland, Dennehy’s Health and Fitness, An Post, Pharmacies, hairdressers, beautician, Clothing, Home ware, Eurogiant, Fruit and Vegetables, Butchers, Tesco, Library, kidzone and Maxi Zoo. Literally all you could want when shopping for the family. It also has 1,000 free covered car parking spaces, designated mother and child parking disabled parking and bicycle parking. The facilities are excellent too. The toilets are always clean, there is a mothering room, free wifi, first aid and a defibrillator. Phew!!
Falvey’s Pharmacy in Douglas Village
My first stop of the day was to Falvey’s Pharmacy as they stop amazing brands from Caudalie, Ren, L’occitane and Cailyn. On this occasion I was in the market for some Neom goodies. Neom is a gorgeous brand of fragrance and body products created 100% naturally to beat stress, aid sleep, boost energy or lift your mood through aromatherapy. After a stressful few weeks this is just what I need. Falvey’s stock the full range and it is divine!
Cici and Boo
Next stop was Cici and Boo so I could pick up a few bits for Finn in their summer sale. The kids clothes here are adorable!! Bright colours and gorgeous prints. They currently have a 50% off sale with loads of stock included. The staff are friendly and the shop is child friendly. The outfit I loved for Finn was the perfect child summer wardrobe update. How cute is the banana print?
The Golden Spiderweb
You can’t go shopping for the kids and not pick yourself up something! Right? There are lots of options for ladies wear in the centre but I was after something casual. I popped into the Golden Spiderweb for a browse and fell in love with this white lace detail top. It is so flattering on and will go with many items already in my wardrobe. You can also find some really great little accessories there. How fab are the embellished belts?
If you have been following me for a while you will already know that I am a regular visitor to TK Maxx in Douglas Village Shopping Centre. I pick up gorgeous clothes for the Hubby and Finn as well as some beauty essentials for myself. The homeware section is also amazing. I always go in for one thing and leave with another. On this occasion I went in for a bedside lamp and got distracted by the gorgeous kitchen ware. The value always blows me away so you can afford a few extra bits. I love shopping in the Douglas branch as the parking is free, covered if it’s raining and you can use a trolley to cart around all of your purchases!!
Finally when you are all shopped out you can take a seat in my favourite spot for a tea or coffee. Puccino’s is one of our brunch spots and it is where you will find Hubby and I most sundays when I am off. They serve my favourite breakfasts but also have a gorgeous range of food made to order like pizza, French toast, soup etc..
So there you have it guys. All you could need under one roof! Take a visit the next time you need to do some shopping and see for yourself. You can visit the shopping centre website HERE.
