Bershka Eyeshadow Palette
Did you know that Bershka did makeup? Nope? Neither did I!! I wandered in there last week for a browse and as I was queuing up to pay for a jacket (khaki and pearl on my Instagram) I saw that they had added a makeup stand!! I wasn’t expecting much but I stopped for a look anyway. Immediately my eyeballs were drawn to the eyeshadow palettes. They had three or four on offer but I grabbed the one called Magnetic Amber. The colours are right up my street. Orange and brown? Yes please!!
The packaging is actually quite good for the price point. It comes in a pink box with a simple graphic. The palette itself is in a plain black case that seems sturdy and weighty with a mirror on the inside. You get six shades in total, ranging from a white shimmer to a dark coffee. How was the quality?
I swatched these the minute I got home and was so impressed with the pigmentation. The colours went on smoothly and with one swipe of my finger. I don’t use a medium for swatching product. Just my fingers and my arm! There was one colour that did absolutely nothing for me and really lets the rest of the palette down but I will forgive it as the other colours are gorgeous and the 9.95 euro price tag isn’t that bad at all!
The white shimmer is very chunky and full of glitter which I really dislike. The middle white shade is the only matte and is a nice colour for setting your primer. The only other gipe I have is I would have liked one of the darker brown shades to be a bit more matte. It would have been the perfect palette for on the go if it had a transition colour or a matte crease colour but I’m still not mad at it. It really was lovely to use and the colours blended really well.
I loved using this palette. It lasted well, was pigmented and blended really easily. The shades are perfect for summer and you can create a few different looks with it. I would purchase the other colours in this range to try them out based on how this one performed. It’s €9.99 and you can buy HERE.
