Too Faced Natural Love Eyeshadow Palette

Too Faced Natural Love

You know when you see photo’s of something and it is love at first sight? That is how I felt when I laid eyeballs on the Too Faced Natural Love Eyeshadow Palette. The colours just screamed Summer Love to me! A mix of matte and shimmer shadows in a stunning range of neutral colours. In this palette you have 30 shadows, some of which are brand new and exclusive to this palette. I am a huge fan of Too Faced Palettes in general with The Chocolate Bar Palette being one of my most used on a daily basis.

I had been waiting and waiting for this to hit Irish shelves so when Too Faced invited me to a viewing event during the launch of the palette, I jumped at the chance. I was very kindly gifted my own palette (along with the highlighters but that is for a separate post!) and I have been playing with it ever since.

The packaging of this palette is stunning. It is slim and elegant looking with soft colours that imply the romance of summer. The velvet lettering and embossed images give it a luxurious feel. It comes with a very generous, high quality mirror making this palette nice to use. How did it swatch?

The colours swatched beautifully. They were soft, creamy and pigmented. I did have concerns for the matte shadows but once applied to the eye using a brush they blended beautifully. The shimmers are non glittery and a dream to work with.

My favourite shade from the whole thing was ‘hot and bothered’, a stunning and highly pigmented copper shade. As you can see from the darker colours the shade ‘fingers crossed’ did not swatch that well but I can forgive it.

Now, the price. When this first hit the Debenhams website it was advertised as 63 euro, which although pricey, I felt worth it as you can create so many looks with the 30 shadows you get. In the last week or so the price has increased to 72.75 which I think is probably a bit saucy! For that price the packaging could be a wee bit sturdier than the cardboard base and I would have loved another option for a transition colour. As much as I love my palette and will use it to death, 73 euro is a lot to ask considering you probably have similar colours already. However, if you are a make up lover then a fan of Too Faced like I am, you won’t mind spending the money as it really is beautiful. You can buy HERE.

I can see where you are coming from. It’s a high price tag for a palette where you already own similar colours x
