Afternoon Tea At Electric Cork

Afternoon Tea At Electric Cork

On Saturday February 25th we had the ultimate girls day out in Electric, Cork City. The event was hosted by the beautiful Eimear Varian Barry and MC’d by the glowing Style Queen The Irish Fashaholic. It was already set for success and a success it was!

On arrival we were greeted by our host as if we were old friends. What strikes you most about EVB is just how normal and down to earth she is. I have been following her on Instagram and Snapchat for a while now and I love to watch her as a Mother and as a blogger. Her aesthetic is incredible and her content can only be held up as a source of inspiration. She shares the ups and downs of everyday life with two young girls which makes her completely relatable. On the day she gave us tips and tricks on how to improve our social media and also an insight to her career and how she got to where she was. The time flew by! Eimear of The Irish Fashaholic was a wonderful MC. Leading the conversation with questions we all wanted answered, it flowed really well.

Now onto the food!! It was delicious! We were served a selection of hot bites including sausage roll, smoked salmon on brown bread, chicken on crostini and savoury Muffins.

After it was washed down with proscecco, we moved onto sweets. An amazing selection of pavlova, macaroons, chocolate tart and scones to name a few.

The afternoon tea at Electric is one I would highly recommend. It would be the perfect way to finish off a girly days shopping in the city. You should also check out their cocktail menu. One of my favourites in the city and I always have the Shanghai Cooler.

I wore a gold trousers from Zara, Black top and Gold shoes from River Island and a vintage sequin jacket from Frank Usher that I found on Depop. How cute is Eimear though?

These Wifi cards from are adorable aren’t they? Loved being able to take this home and put it on display in a frame. Such a cool idea!

Overall it was a fabulous afternoon in a fabulous venue surrounded by gorgeous women. Where is your favourite spot for afternoon tea?
